At Christian Counselling Services, we believe that you don't need to be in crisis to access our services. In fact, earlier intervention usually ensures a quicker solution. We help you in clarifying the problem and working with you to create and identify solutions that work for you.
Clients may prefer these forms of counselling for a variety of reasons including added privacy, remaining in the comfort of their own home, lack of childcare, mobility issues, or living in a remote location.
Fees are $110 per hour for counselling services provided by Registered Counsellors, Social Workers, and Marriage & Family Therapists, and $125 per hour for these same services when provided by Registered Psychologists.
Counselling sessions can be paid through several different sources. Most commonly clients use an Employee Assistance Program (EAP); or they access insurance benefits; or they pay for sessions personally.
Insurance policies (or extended health benefits) may offer some reimbursement for fees paid. Clients are responsible to check with their insurance company to determine if the counsellor you want to see qualifies under the specific requirements of your insurance plan. Clients are responsible to pay the counsellor's fee at the time of the session. Christian Counselling Services does not directly invoice insurance companies.
Sessions are payable by Visa, Mastercard, Debit, cheque, or cash.
Many churches will also provide support to their parishioners when accessing counselling services. Please check with your pastor or priest.
For clients in financial distress, Christian Counselling Services has a sliding fee scale. Please contact the front desk at 306.244.9890 for more information. Counselling interns completing their Master's Degree under the supervision of a senior counsellor are also available to meet with clients for a reduced fee.
