Alan is married and is the father of two grown daughters and the proud grandfather of two grandchildren. Alan's previous counselling experience includes a number of years on staff as Counsellor at Teen Challenge Saskatchewan where he saw many lives changed in a powerful, supernatural way. Alan also served on staff at a Saskatoon church as the Associate Pastor of Care.

Alan's areas of counselling include addictions and mental health (depression/anxiety/bi-polar issues). Alan has a listening ear and a heart for men who struggle with life. Couples and familes who are confronted by life will find Alan's approach to counselling encouraging but challenging where necessary. He also enjoys facilitating therapeutic mental health groups and grief groups.
